Student & Alumni Comments

"I had a well rounded and diverse education in fashion design and textile/surface design. My work requires proficiency in all aspects of design and construction. I believe the most important and relevant aspects of my studies were: advance pattern cutting and construction, design process and a creative and productive method for obtaining design solution."

Alumni

"I developed a strong understanding of myself as a designer, both strengths and weaknesses. Design roles are few and far between in Australia which leaves me in a position where I feel I must create my own employment through starting my own label. If I could go back and do it all over again I would. I cherish the experience that much."

Alumni

"The school encouraged students to push the boundaries of design and harness creativity. With a strong pattern cutting knowledge underlying the course, creativity in design was always held as of higher importance than commerciality. "

Alumni

"Australia can be a tough place to study fashion given its seclusion from the rest of the world. This reflects in the post grad work opportunities. "
