Domus Academy is a private design school in Milan, offering post-graduate courses in fashion, design and business. Domus Academy's curriculum consists of four core modules, each incorporating a course period and workshop period, followed by a two-month internship. With over 90 percent of applicants accepted to the programmes, Domus Academy is not selective. However, its student body is highly international with over 90 percent of students coming from outside of Italy. Further, students are allowed freedom to design their academic path and select their two final projects across different disciplines according to the career they wish to pursue. Students indicated roughly a 50 percent satisfaction rating with the marketing and business courses offered within the creative masters programmes, while courses in technical skills and sustainability also received scores that were below average.
"The curriculum has great content to offer but the university is weak helping students find employment."
"I am more than satisfied with the learning process in Domus Academy. The environment is highly professional but at the same time we are all friends. Workshops and projects are the best way to understand how everything is happening in the real business world of fashion. "
"Domus is truly a unique programme, a place where you can grow and develop skills in a dynamic and challenging way, but motivation to do so is key! Personal effort is just as important as the material you learn and the group workshops you will do each month. "
