Created and funded by the French Ministry for Industry, IFM was founded to bridge the gap between creative design and business. The Parisian campus offers postgraduate and executive education. The institute is well-connected in the fashion world; many high profile individuals and companies sit on its board of directors and are patrons of the school. The educational offer is split into fashion design and luxury management programmes. Curricula are composed of real-life projects or business cases in cooperation with fashion or luxury goods companies. Courses include a six-month internship for all students. Student places are highly sought after and only one in five applicants secure a place in the course. This year, IFM was ranked first in BoF's inaugural Business Graduate Ranking, thanks to the quality of its teaching and diversity of its educational content. Our survey showed high results in students' satisfaction with resources, faculty and the student body. Students also rated the school's business and marketing courses highly. Students have commented on the excellent access to industry, and the quality of recruiters on campus leading to job opportunities following their graduation. According to our student and alumni survey, 86 percent of students have a job within six months of graduation, a reflection of the rich pool of employment opportunities available in France.

Student & Alumni Comments
"IFM is the perfect school for those who believe in the evolution of their talents. It will train your skills and habits in order to be better designer. You will have creative integrity and realistic expectations within the cut-throat fashion industry. Also, you will meet people from around the world that will share their worlds with you and become your allies for tomorrow, when the real struggle begins."
"After studying criminal law for 5 years then working 4 years in the fashion business, doing a year at IFM has been the most satisfying experience I have had in a long time. It has allowed me to blossom, open myself to new career ideas and learn much more than I expected. IFM is an excellent school, with a smart, human and demanding teaching faculty."
"Despite the fact that the MSc International Luxury Management is a rather new programme compared with other programmes offered by IFM, it manages to engender young professionals with a business focus from the very crucial cultural lens that brings a key understanding of luxury or fashion brands. In addition, the international push of this programme is an asset in the wake of the globalising luxury and fashion Industries and due to rising demand for talent with a competitive international profile."
"The classes are very interesting. The best professionals from the fashion, luxury and design sector come to teach us how the business works; the network of IFM is incredible and gives you many opportunities to discuss with professionals and therefore to discover what suits you best. Moreover, it opens so many job opportunities throughout the year. "
