Global Fashion School Rankings 2017

Istituto Marangoni

Milano, Italy

Founded in Milan, privately run Istituto Marangoni now also operates campuses in Paris, London, Shanghai and Florence.Part of Istituto Marangoni's appeal is the opportunity for students to transfer between the international campuses during their studies. The school's student body is among the most internationally diverse of schools in our ranking - 67 percent of BA students are international. Entrance into the school is becoming increasingly more competitive each year. Students' ratings of the institution's campus, resources, study materials and career services have also improved since 2016, however alumni network scores were poor. The long term value for students was evident in the strong student employability scores.

Student & Alumni Comments

"I particularly liked the fact that the teachers were all from industry and thus, could share interesting insights. Moreover, I think it is amazing that Istituto Marangoni is located in different countries as it enables students to study fashion in many different geographical contexts."

Alumni

"The classes were interesting, but the career opportunities were the most important part of this school. The school provides great opportunities and has contacts with the best companies. "

Alumni

"The students come from all over. We have the opportunity to learn as much from each other as from the teachers."

Student

"My experience has been overall positive with regards to the teaching methods and getting in touch with the external world of fashion. However, financial aid is majorly lacking. We have to buy many materials in addition to the course and we are supposed to pay all the school fees before the beginning of the year."
