Polimoda's location in the Renaissance city of Florence plays a significant part in its student experience. The school's connections with the fashion industry are also enhanced by the proximity of the nearby leather industry and garment manufacturers of Tuscany. Students in both the undergraduate and masters courses come from a wide variety of international backgrounds, and the school's overall level of international diversity is increasing year-over-year. Both the BA and MA creative courses ranked highly for student diversity in 2017. Students have commented on the quality of internship experience received, with 100 percent of students undertaking work experience during their studies. Students scored the faculty, campus and workrooms highly in our survey, while about 76 percent of undergraduate alumni survey participants found a job within six months of graduation.

Student & Alumni Comments
"I appreciate the knowledge and industry insight that I have gained so far. The teachers are not only theoretical professors, but remain active in the fashion industry. What is more, an extraordinary library serves as an important source of inspiration during our projects and assignments. "
"Amazing with a lot of opportunities to meet people from all over the world and teachers with a direct link to the industry"
"Polimoda was my career reset button and entry ticket to the fashion/luxury market, and it gave me exactly that."
"It was the right choice. I learned a lot about fashion, marketing and communication. I met extraordinary people, and I grew up very much on a personal level."
"Very satisfied. The school offers a lot of collaboration with brands, fairs, contests and magazines that help us achieve more experience before graduating. I have noticed in my internships that I'm applying the same content that I'm learning at school, meaning that the teachers are very good at their jobs and know what they are talking about."
