The second edition of Arab Fashion Week Men’s gets underway today with a new strategic partnership between event organisers, the Arab Fashion Council, and Dubai Design District (d3), which will provide a new home for the physical events in this combined physical and virtual fashion week.
While designers on the calendar, including Amato, Zardouz, Emergency Room, Todd Hessert, Yasqueen and Anomalous will continue to present collections virtually through Facebook Live and Instagram Live from today through June 30, d3 will play host to exclusive physical events in conjunction with Arab Fashion Week Men’s Spring Summer 2022.
“This strategic partnership is important for the sustainable growth and development of the region’s fashion and haute couture industries that, much like many other sectors, need to rethink the regular to thrive in the post-pandemic world,” said d3 executive director, Khadija Al Bastaki.
As part of the continued partnership between the Arab Fashion Council and The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, five emerging menswear designers from Paris Fashion Week Men’s will present their collections at Arab Fashion Week Men’s Spring Summer 2022. The selected French designers are: Valette Studio, EGOnlab, Lazoschmidl, Louis Gabriel Nouchi, and Arturo Obegero.
