Benetton Group has announced the appointment of Ramprasad Sridharan as its new CEO and Managing Director at Benetton India.
Sridharan, who starts in his new position on June 7, was previously C&J Clarks International Singapore’s president of South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand. He replaces Sundeep Chugh who is stepping down after a decade with the Benetton Group.
India – where Benetton has been present since 1992 – is a key market for the Group. This year, Benetton, which has a network of over 850 points of sale across the country, has opened 12 stores and plans to open another 30 to 40.
