Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week has wrapped up, following 16 shows presented by designers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in a combined physical and digital format held over three days.
The in-person events were hosted within two venues in the Prague Market complex, with access to shows open to the public free of charge.
Designers on the schedule included both established names and newcomers presenting their Spring/Summer collections at the event. Highlights included young Czech designers, Zdenek Marek and David Nikolov, whose collections embraced bright colours and prints, while Katarina Halasova’s Musa brand predominantly showed pieces in black and white.
This week, everyone will be talking about New York Fashion Week, the industry’s uncertain autumn and the end of US pandemic benefits.
