The event will run from Mar. 16th to the 21st, marking the first joint venture from both companies through a mix of physical and digital events. Both FDCI and Lakmé will continue their buyer programmes from the previous season.
The merger comes at a difficult time for India’s fashion industry, as supply chain disruptions and order cancellations led to a humanitarian crisis for many of the country’s garment workers and lockdowns prevented international buyers and audiences from seeing collections and designers in person.
