The beauty brand announced on Thursday Mack will be joining as the first in this new role, effective April 19. Mack is joining Glossier from L’Oréal, where she served as VP of corporate strategic marketing.
This appointment comes at a time when Glossier is seeking to introduce its products to a wider global audience post-pandemic, continuing its digital-first, direct-to-consumer approach. It’s a process, Mack, a beauty industry veteran, is familiar with. Prior to her most recent position at L’Oréal, she assisted with the launch of It Cosmetics in Europe and held various marketing roles at Tarte Cosmetics and Pureology.
“Kleo’s creativity and appetite for scale make her an ideal leader as we become an increasingly global company and bring new offline and digital experiences to life this year and in years to come,” Ali Weiss, Glossier’s SVP of marketing, wrote in a blog post.
