The announcement Thursday makes permanent a role the executive has held on an interim basis since last July. The appointment will be effective immediately. Kahn will report to Joanne Crevoiserat, chief executive officer of Coach parent Tapestry, Inc.
Kahn joined Coach in 2008 and has held multiple leadership roles during his 13-year tenure. Most recently he served as chief legal officer until over the company’s revenue generating business divisions last March and the interim CEO and brand president position in July.
