Christophe Lemaire Joins Uniqlo
Uniqlo has appointed Christophe Lemaire artistic director of a new Uniqlo Paris R&D Centre. He will also design a new Uniqlo line, Uniqlo U. The first Uniqlo U collection will be unveiled during Paris couture week in July. Lemaire will continue to design his eponymous label.

Ralph Lauren Hires CFO
Jane Hamilton Nielsen has joined Ralph Lauren as chief financial officer. Nielsen comes from Coach and replaces Robert Madore, who will exit the company in September. Coach's head of investor relations and corporate communications, Andrea Shaw Resnick, will serves as interim CFO until Nielsen's replacement is found.

Dirk Bikkembergs Appoints Creative Director
Lee Wood has joined Dirk Bikkembergs as creative director. His first collection for the Belgian brand will be Autumn/Winter 2017. Most recently Wood was creative director of his own line, L72.

Cath Kidston Exits Eponymous Brand
Two decades after founding her eponymous lifestyle brand, Cath Kidston has left her role as non-executive director of the company. Her departure comes two years after she stepped down as chief creative designer.

Tracy Doyle Joins T Brand Studio
The New York Times Company has named Tracy Doyle creative director of fashion and luxury for T Brand Studio, its in-house branded content studio. Before joining T Brand Studio, Doyle ran her own creative agency, Tracy Doyle LLC.

Galeries Lafayette Names Fashion Editor
Galeries Lafayette has appointed Alix Morabito to the newly created position of fashion editor. Morabito worked at the department store chain until 2008, rejoining in 2015 as deputy buying director for menswear and accessories, having worked as fashion accessories and license collection director at Chloé in the interim.
