Harper’s Bazaar has named Lynette Nylander as its next executive digital director, the publication’s parent company Hearst Magazines announced on Wednesday.
Nylander, joins Harper’s Bazaar from Dazed, where she most recently served as executive editorial director. Previously, Nylander held positions at Teen Vogue and CR Fashion Book, as well as content-related roles at Alexander Wang and Pat McGrath Labs.
In her new role, she will oversee content and strategy for the magazine’s website, including social media and report directly to editor-in-chief Samira Nasr.
Nylander joining the team is just the latest masthead change at Harper’s Bazaar digital as of late: Former deputy digital editor Izzy Grinspan was promoted to digital director, while Faith Brown, previously a social media editor at W, joined as senior social media editor.
