Kris Grikaite

At only 16, Kris Grikaite scored an exclusive contract with Prada for Spring/Summer 2017 season, and has since appeared in the brand’s campaigns and catwalk shows. She is considered one of the new modelling faces to watch.

Born in Omsk, Russia, Grikaite began her career in 2016, when she signed to her domestic modelling agency. After Prada, known for discovering new faces, brought her on as an exclusive model in the Spring/Summer 2017 show, Grikaite swiftly became a muse for the Italian fashion house, starring in over fifteen Prada campaigns to date.

Grikaite's first magazine cover was Vogue Russia’s March 2017 issue. She has since appeared on the covers of Vogue China, Dazed and Pop magazine, as well as in editorials for various international editions of Vogue, Interview magazine and Self Service. She has been photographed by some of the industry’s leading photographers including Patrick Demarchellier, Mario Sorrenti , David Sims and Craig McDean . The young model also counts campaigns for Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Max Mara as credits.

Grikaite was among Edward Enninful ’s Top Newcomers A/W 2017 list on Models.com, and was described by British Vogue as "The New Natalia Vodianova ."
