Pooja Mor
Model
An engineer by training, the Indian model has blossomed into an international star after winning a regional contest.
The 24-year old engineering graduate swept several Fall/Winter 2016 runway shows and has landed covers for the likes of Harper’s Bazaar India and Vogue Italia.
Pooja Mor kickstarted her international modelling career after making it to the Ahmedabad regional finals in the Clean and Clear Ahmedabad Times Fresh Face in 2012. Hailing from the same Indian state as famous Indian actor, model and singer Priyanka Chopra , Mor began through modelling stints at Delhi and Mumbai Fashion Weeks before her career launched internationally. She was scouted when a friend of hers, represented by Elite NYC, posted a picture of her on Instagram. Elite New York immediately signed Mor and Louis Vuitton scouted her to walk in the brand’s Resort 2015 show in Palm Springs.
Represented by Animacreatives in India, Viva in the UK, France and Spain, and Elite in the US, Mor’s extensive career has included campaigns for Tory Burch , editorials for British Vogue, runway presentations for Topshop Unique, Prabal Gurung , JW Anderson and Altuzarra, among several others. Her magazine covers include Numero China and Vogue Italia.
In 2016, Mor relocated to New York City to pursue further opportunities. She is a vocal activist against forced organ harvesting in China.
