Jordan Barrett is an Australian model who has appeared in campaigns for Balmain, Coach and Versace, and worked with renowned lensmen including Mert & Marcus, Mario Testino and Inez & Vinoodh.
After being scouted by an IMG Australia at age 14 and moving to New York in 2015, Barrett gained impressive momentum due to his blonde hair and sun-kissed look, making him one few recognisable names and faces in male modelling at the age of 19.
“I had no idea about the industry, it’s never crossed my mind at all until a guy from IMG came up to me in a grocery store and scouted me.” he explained.
Barrett has since featured in campaigns for Coach, Balmain, Versace and Moschino, as well as covers on CR Fashion Book by Carine Roitfeld , Vogue Netherlands Man and Wonderland magazine. He also appeared in Kanye West and Balmain’s “Wolves” video, shot by Steven Klein .
In 2015 he received the GQ Australia “Man of the Year” award for his achievements as the country’s leading male model, and in 2016 was named “Model of the Year” by Models.com.
