Biography

Camila Coutinho is a Brazilian fashion blogger and one of the country’s biggest influencers for luxury and aspirational consumers alike through her blog “Garotas Estúpidas” and collaborations with brands such as Dior and Harrods.

In 2006 Coutinho, still a fashion design student at DeVry University, created her blog “Garotas Estúpidas” — named after the singer Pink’s “Stupid Girls” song — to cover celebrity style and fashion tips. The blog quickly garnered a cult following for its mix of high fashion and street style. Coutinho has since launched a Youtube channel, where she has interviewed personalities like Gisele Bündchen and Kaya Scodelario, and authored the book "Estúpida, eu?" (Stupid, Me?), which was published in 2018 and recounts her experiences in building a business from initially blogging as a hobby.

Today she is Brazil’s biggest fashion blogger, with an Instagram following of over 2 million on her personal style account, and 1 million on her blog. She was the first Brazilian digital influencer to join The Society Management, and has worked with luxury brands including Harrods, Dior and Jimmy Choo. In 2014, she featured in Meghan Trainor’s music video "Lips Are Movin.”

Coutinho was also awarded the Best Blogger award at Glamour’s Generation Awards in 2016.
