Biography
Photographer Elizaveta Porodina has been compared to iconic photographers such as Helmut Newton with her romantic, surrealist and at times cinematic portraits.
Having studied clinical psychology, the Munich-based photographer began experimenting with various forms of visual art, in both colour and black and white and use of symbolism, eventually leading to work with brands such as Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier , Carolina Herrera , Jo Malone and Moncler. Her magazine shoots range from a Vogue Spain cover featuring Bella Hadid and a Vogue Italia cover starring Zendaya. A series shot for GQ of Brad Pitt portrays the Hollywood actor in a variety of unusual portrayals, including as a psychedelic corpse and a camp cowboy.
Her work has been exhibited in Fotografiska Stockholm and the Foam Museum in Amsterdam, among other museums.
