Biography
Aseel Omran is a Saudi Arabian actress and musician who is also one of the most bankable stars in the Middle East. With a fanbase across the Arab world and an Instagram following of more than six million people, she was named Dior’s first official ambassador for the Middle East in 2022, for the womenswear and fine jewellery categories. Omran previously secured partnerships with the likes of L'Oréal Paris, as a spokesperson, and Bulgari. As an entertainer with boundary-breaking personal style and a muse recognised by top-tier global luxury brands, she is a role model for women across the region, including Saudi Arabia as the conservative kingdom undergoes social change.
The Al-Khobar-born entertainer shot to fame after appearing on reality talent show “Gulf Stars” in 2006, releasing her first album “Khajlanah” a year later on Rotana Records, followed by her second “Allah Yhannini” in 2008. Fast becoming a household name, The Middle East Broadcasting Centre introduced a reality show starring Omran called “Huwa Wa Heya.” After releasing her third album “Mo Bessahel” in 2011, she began acting in Arabic-language shows on Netflix and other platforms including “Qabel Lil Kaser”, “Harun Al Rashid” and “Akoon Aw La”. Her viral YouTube content, collaborations with international singers and covers remain popular across the region. Omran has collaborated with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since 2019.
