Biography

Elizabeth Isiorho is the founder of Beth Model Management, one of the largest modelling agencies in West Africa. A pioneer of the industry in Nigeria, where her agency is based, she has spent two decades helping to launch the careers of new faces from across the wider Africa region and developing a pipeline of models for editorial, runway and advertising clients in the fashion capitals.

Isiorho has forged partnerships with top agencies and casting directors in Europe, North America and Asia, positioning her as the mother agent behind some of the most sought-after up-and-coming models from the African continent.

Born in the United Kingdom, Isiorho got her start in the industry as a model in 2001, when she won the Miss Nigeria UK beauty pageant. She started her own agency in Nigeria in 2004, filling a gap in the market while helping to professionalise and formalise the local industry as time went on. Later, she secured a franchise deal with Elite Model Management to organise Elite Model Look Nigeria. She also initiated "Future Face Global," a platform designed to nurture and empower young African models onto the global stage.

She has represented models including Nigeria’s Mayowa Nicholas, who has shot campaigns for brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein . More recent discoveries include Nyagua Ruea, a South Sudanese model Isiorho scouted in Kenya, who has been on the cover of British Vogue and walked the runway for Valentino and Alexander McQueen .
