Biography

Emma Chamberlain is a content creator and YouTuber. Since starting her channel in 2017 the 21-year-old has broken the creator mould and become a bona fide celebrity with over 16.1 million Instagram followers and 11.8 million Youtube subscribers. Her partnership with Louis Vuitton in 2019 was the first time a major luxury player teamed up with a YouTuber, a now common arrangement. Since then, she has been named a Louis Vuitton and Cartier ambassador, and has hosted Met Gala red carpet interviews for Vogue since 2021.

Vlogging started as a hobby for Chamberlain, who honed a unique style characterised by long monologues, interrupted by quick quips to the camera, zooms in and out, and text-edit overlays as she moved about her day, whether it was planning Coachella outfits, reviewing fast food or getting her nose pierced. At 16, she dropped out of high-school to turn YouTube into a career. At 18, Louis Vuitton started sitting her in the front row at shows. In 2019, Chamberlain launched Chamberlain Coffee, and a podcast, “Anything Goes.”

Chamberlain won the 2018 Streamy Award for Breakout Creator. In 2019, she was featured on Time magazine’s Time 100 Next list, and its list of the most influential people on the internet. She has been on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo Girl and Allure, and has been featured in Vogue Australia and Nylon, and is quickly becoming a front row regular. Most recently, she attended Ganni’s Spring/Summer 2023 show with Vogue
