Biography

For several years Liu has been one of China’s most in demand stylists. Her ascension in the industry continues with her appointment as the first executive deputy editor and fashion director for T Magazine China, which launched in March 2015.

Her ability to juggle responsibilites knows no bounds — she took up a position in China’s Next Top Model in 2015, as well as being behind the wardrobe for Divorce Lawyers, one of the most successful Chinese TV shows in Asia.

Based between Beijing and London, Liu was originally set to study English Literature at university, before she switched to fashion design at the Birmingham Institute of Art in the UK. “Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made,” she told Lane Crawford, one of the many luxury brands for which she has consulted.

After leaving university, Liu decided to be a stylist, and her editorials have featured in i-D, Glass and Dazed & Confused. She was previously the style director for Harper’s Bazaar China.
