Biography

The breakout Ethiopia-born, South Sudanese model has caught the industry’s eye and walked in over 50 shows for the likes of Chanel, Givenchy and Gucci.

Originally South Sudanese, Nyasiase was born in Ethiopia and raised in Kenya, where she lived in a small house with 12 cousins. Soon after taking local modelling jobs to support herself, Nyasiase was introduced to mother agent Ingrid Tamborin, who connected her with Women Management in New York and MP Management in Paris and Milan.

She made her debut during the Autumn/Winter 2017 season, initially walking for Miu Miu, Rick Owens and Armani. For Autumn/Winter 2018, she walked for over 43 shows, including Balenciaga, Burberry and Tom Ford , and appeared in campaigns for Pat McGrath , Balenciaga, Versace and Alexander McQueen. Her cover shoots include Vogue Ukraine, Brazilian Vogue and Dazed.

Nyasiase is featured in Models.com’s “Top 50” list.
