Biography

Aimee Song was an early adopter of the fashion blog movement. Today, her blog Song of Style receives over 2 million page views per month. She compliments her site with an active Instagram account, which boasts 4.6 million followers and often features exotic locations and snaps of product from both her jewellery and clothing lines. One of the first to popularise the now very familiar format, Song’s blog documents her travels, interior design work and personal style choices.

Song began blogging in 2008 whilst studying Interior Architecture in San Francisco. Her blog was initially intended as forum to share her interior design aesthetic and portfolio shoots, but when posts dedicated to what she was wearing sparked positive interest, Song took the opportunity to launch a personal style blog.

Song has successfully diversified her revenue streams through her small jewellery and apparel brands. Her jewellery line Song of Style features a small selection of bracelets in gold and semi-precious stones, whilst her apparel collection, Two Songs, features Californian street style-inspired t-shirts and sweatshirts. True to her West Coast roots, her clothing collection is manufactured in Los Angeles.

Song has featured in high profile publications, including The New York Times, and has collaborated with a number of major brands including True Religion and Levi’s. Additionally, Song worked with denim brand 7 For All Mankind on their “Dreaming in Blue” collection, which celebrated California and aimed to reflect Song’s unique personal style and passions.
