Kit Butler is a UK-based model.
Over his decade-long career, Butler has become a regular on the runways and in campaigns for the world’s largest luxury brands. He frequently collaborates with Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani , Calvin Klein , Ralph Lauren , Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Versace and LaQuan Smith . He has also appeared on the covers of magazines including L’Officiel Hommes, Harper’s Bazaar Men Thailand and Super.
Butler’s quintessential UK preppy look recalls his background as a high school rugby player. Born and raised in Oxford until age 5, he then moved to Italy with his family and attended an elite private school in Verona. There, he learned Italian and became a skilled skier, competing in the Italian national youth finals. His family then moved back to England when he was 11. He had plans to major in sports science at university to become a physiotherapist before he was scouted as a teen while helping to build an aerodrome with his uncle.
Butler made his first runway appearance at just age 16 when he was selected to open Stuart Vevers ’ first menswear show for Coach in the Autumn/Winter 2015 show.
A year later, Butler was nominated by Models.com for men’s breakout star. By 2018, he won the Model of the Year reader’s choice award for men, and he has been nominated for Model of the Year twice since then. Butler is currently represented by Next London in the UK and Soul Artist Management in New York.
