Domus Academy is a private design school in Milan, which offers post-graduate courses in fashion and design. Domus Academy’s curriculum consists of four core modules, each incorporating a course period and workshop period, followed by a two-month internship. Students are allowed freedom in designing their academic path and select their two final projects across different disciplines according to the career they wish to pursue. Students in our survey reacted positively to this course structure, with almost 90 percent expressing satisfaction with their work placements. Students rated courses in marketing and business highly, while courses in technical skills, digital technology and sustainability received scores that were marginally above average. With a 99 percent acceptance rate, Domus Academy is not selective. However, its student body is highly international with over 95 percent of students coming from outside of Italy.
