Fashion at Middlesex University is taught within the school’s £80 million purpose-built building, The Grove, which gives students access to a wide range of art and design workshops and facilities. Students in our survey ranked both the school’s campus and resources among the highest in our survey, with almost 100 percent of students satisfied. Students’ ranking of the school’s course offerings in technical skills came in above average compared to other schools, but courses in marketing, business and sustainability were rated poorly. During their second year of studies, all students take part in a six-week work placement during London Fashion Week. Students who participated in our survey reacted positively to their work placements, with almost 90 percent expressing they were satisfied or very satisfied.

Student & Alumni Comments
"I loved the whole experience, teachers and lectures were excellent and always there when you needed them. Technical classes were very in depth. Teachers spent individual time with you and pushed you to succeed. The facilities were amazing, everything you needed or connections to further facilities outside of the university."
"For an applicant that does not have any experience or previous knowledge of the fashion industry, I believe Middlesex University offers a diverse number of modules that cover the technical aspects of creating a collection. Although the course does not offer you any business and marketing courses or advice."
"Middlesex is an incredibly nurturing environment. My character and confidence as a creative grew so much throughout the three years. Constantly grateful for the hard working tutors I had. Some of whom have gone on to be my mentors."
