Born and raised in Kuwait, Noor Al Sabah moved to London in 2004 to complete her college studies. She graduated from Richmond University in 2008 with a BA Degree in Fine Arts, and spent every Summer doing courses in Fashion at Central St. Martins in London and Parsons Paris School of Art and Design.
She is now the fashion director of one of the leading luxury fashion retailers in the Middle East, AlOthman Boutique, and co-founder of home accessories company Ecru. Established in 1956, AlOthman boutique was one of the first fashion boutiques established in the Arabian Gulf. Today this Kuwaiti fashion institution has grown into a multi-brand store with an outpost in Bahrain, and is one of the key operating concession partners of Harvey Nichols Kuwait.
Since arriving at AlOthman, Al Sabah has become one of the most influential players in the Middle East. She is known for her ability to spot new and emerging talents, and has helped transform the venerable Kuwaiti store into a fashion incubator for young talent.
In 2013, Noor took on the role of fashion director at ON Motcomb, a luxury eveningwear boutique based in London. Part of Al Sabah’s success lies in her fearless approach to fashion. She invests in new brands; she has a close and a very strong relationship with her clients, and has a keen eye for what’s missing in the market.
Al Sabah was selected one of Harper's Bazaar Arabia's best-dressed of 2012, and is currently an active member of local charity organisations that support Kuwait's cultural scene.
