Global Fashion School Rankings 2016
Miami International University of Art & Design
Miami, United States
Located in Downtown Miami, between the high rise buildings of Brickell and the recently gentrified and up-and-coming Wynwood area, Miami International University of Art & Design sits in the heart of the city. The school’s prime location, only a short distance from Miami’s South Beach, creates opportunities for students to be involved with Miami Swim Week and the swimwear market. Our survey showed strong results regarding students’ contentment with the institution’s campus and resources. Students rated the school course offerings in technical skills, digital technology, marketing, business and sustainability above average compared to the scores of other schools. Students were not satisfied with accessibility to alumni, but graded the school’s career services and quality of recruiters highly.

Student & Alumni Comments
"My school is a small school, but it has great teachers that are all involved in the industries they teach so they really know what they are teaching. I like the building and the class rooms are nice."
"I came to MIU after learning how to sew and it has been a great experience. I felt like I took advantage of everything the school has to offer and I feel like I continued my education with well qualified faculty. I've had many amazing opportunities while in school I would otherwise not have had. I leave this school being grateful for what I've learned."
