She has quickly become a sought-after face in the industry, appearing in shows and campaigns for brands such as Prada, Burberry and Dior.

Biography

Nora Attal is a British-Moroccan fashion model who has appeared in countless campaigns, runway shows and magazine covers.

Born in London to Moroccan parents, Attal was discovered at age 14 by the photographer Jamie Hawkesworth , who was casting at her school for a JW Anderson campaign. She juggled school and modelling for several years; an early breakout came when she was dubbed the “mystery girl” in an ad for the designer, earning attention for her serious expression and equally serious eyebrows.

She quickly became a sought-after face in the industry, appearing in shows and campaigns for brands such as Prada, Burberry and Dior. She is a fixture on the Chanel runway, having walked in over a dozen of the brand’s shows since 2019.

Attal is a proud representative of her Moroccan heritage, often incorporating it into her work, including a Vogue Arabia cover where she donned a Berber ceremonial headpiece. She's vocal about the challenges faced by immigrants, drawing from her parents' experiences and the hardships they overcame for her success.

“My family, being Moroccan, would have loved it if I became a doctor or a lawyer or a pharmacist, and had a normal life but you should do what makes you happy — and you will be successful,” she told The National in 2022.
