Tsinghua University is part of China’s C9 League, an alliance of elite universities in mainland China similar to the Russell Group in the United Kingdom or the Ivy League in the United Sates. The University provides internship opportunities in partnership with a variety of international companies including Kering, Gucci, Elle and Vogue and encourages students to study abroad for several semesters during their studies. Over three quarters of students in our survey were satisfied with their work placements, a rating that is above the average of our school sample. Students in our survey were also satisfied with the school’s campus and library, but only 60 percent were satisfied with the school’s workrooms. The admission’s process at Tsinhuga University is competitive, with an acceptance rate of about 13 percent; and the class size is relatively small with only about 60 full-time students in the fashion program.
