The investment company focused on African luxury and heritage brands said Monday it has signed two separate partnerships with the Institut Français de la Mode and trade show organiser WSN.
Birimian will fund an accelerator programme with IFM to support emerging African heritage fashion, accessories and jewellery brands. The firm is also partnering with WSN to increase visibility and international distribution opportunities for African brands. The pair will organise events to highlight brands participating in accelerator programme with IFM during Paris Market Week and Paris Fashion Week.
