TheWrap, a website that covers the media and entertainment industries, has tapped fashion publishing veteran Stefano Tonchi as executive editor for TheWrapBook, a forthcoming biannual coffee table book focussed on fashion in Hollywood, and a consulting style editor for TheWrap.
Tonchi has an extensive resume, including top editorial roles at W, Esquire, L’uomo Vogue and The New York Times’ T magazine. Most recently, he’s served as the editorial director and co-founder of Palmer, a luxury media brand, a position he will continue to hold.
The first edition of TheWrapBook will be released in spring 2024. Alongside the book’s launch, TheWrap plans to release a new fashion and luxury content vertical.
Alexandra von Bargen, the head of brand partnerships at Volta Media, will join the project to act as publisher of TheWrapBook and managing director of fashion and luxury.
