Working through the mediums of photography, video, and illustrations, Garance Doré, a celebrated fashion blogger and creative consultant, has worked on campaigns and creative collaborations with some of the most prominent luxury houses in the industry. Founder of her blog, wearedore.com, Doré regularly posts candid and engaging updates on fashion and style. Her observations have made the site one of the most popular within the fashion industry, which in 2013 was rated amongst the world’s top blogs in a global ranking prepared by Alexa.
A freelance fashion illustrator, Doré launched her blog in 2006 as a means to reach a broader audience for her work. Moving to Paris from her native Corsica in 2007, she soon began creating illustrations for the likes of Louis Vuitton and Kate Spade and in 2008, bolstered by a friendship with The Sartorialist’s Scott Schuman , Doré began featuring street style shots of Parisian locals on her website.
In 2009, Doré began creating the first video content for her blog, garnering enthusiastic feedback from her followers. The French blogger has since produced her own YouTube series "Pardon My French," sponsored by Net-a-Porter, and in early 2013 launched a new video series called "Trending." Since September 2012 Doré has also penned a regular monthly column for Vogue Paris and in 2015 published her first book, Love Style Life, a New York Times bestseller that has been translated into 15 different languages.
In 2012, Doré was awarded the Eugenia Sheppard Media Award by the CFDA, alongside her close collaborator and partner Scott Schuman. She has also previously been awarded the Style Award for Fashion Blogger of the Year by Turkish Elle and in 2010 was listed in Forbes' "20 Best Fashion Blogs for Professional Women." In 2019, Doré was named among the panel of judges for Etsy's first-ever global design awards.
