This week, Furla appoints industry veteran Mauro Sabatini CEO, while Valextra names Xavier Rougeaux its new head.

Furla names Mauro Sabatini CEO

The executive is an industry veteran whose Tuscany-based leather goods manufacturing company, Effeuno, was acquired by Furla in 2018 after years of strategic partnership. He succeeds Alberto Camerlengo, who has been appointed executive president of Furla’s board, the company said in a post on LinkedIn.

Valextra names Xavier Rougeaux CEO, adds Ralph Toledano to board

Rougeaux joins the luxury leather goods brand with immediate effect. He was previously chief executive of Smythson. Valextra also announced that Ralph Toledano, president of the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, has been nominated to join the board of directors.

Grazia USA Hires Jillian Maxwell as Chief Revenue Officer

The new American edition of the global fashion magazine hired its business head from WSJ. Magazine, where she was executive director of international fashion. Maxwell will report to Grazia USA’s chief executive Dylan Howard, formerly a top executive at the parent company of Us Weekly and InTouch tabloids. Maxwell joins fellow WSJ. Magazine alum David Thielebeule, who was appointed Grazia USA’s editor-in-chief in December.

Claire Marie Healy steps down as editor of Dazed

Healy joined Dazed as print features editor in 2015 before she was promoted to editor in 2019. Over the last two years, Healy has steered the magazine’s editorial direction, profiling the likes of Chloë Sevigny, Sofia Coppola and Tavi Gevinson. She will stay on as contributing editor for Dazed Media-owned AnOther magazine.
