The American retailer will sell items including apparel, nursery furniture and baby gear through a dedicated brand store on Amazon.com in the US and Canada. The collection will be available for purchase with the e-commerce giant’s Prime delivery.
”Collaborating with Amazon Fashion provides us a new channel to deliver Gap’s modern American essentials to even more customers in the US and Canada,” Mark Breitbard, president and CEO, Gap brand, said in a statement.
The announcement follows Gap’s dissolution of its Yeezy Gap partnership in September. The Yeezy Gap deal was wound down after around two years — it was originally supposed to last 10 years, with billion-dollar ambitions.
