Gap to Launch Eyewear in 2022

The American apparel retailer signed a licensing agreement with Italian eyewear maker De Rigo to make prescription frames and sunglasses that will be sold in select stores in North America and Brazil. The deal was brokered by agency IMG, which signed Gap Inc. as a licensing client in 2020 to enter new categories amid a challenging retail market.
