Power Moves | Lula’s New Editor-in-Chief, Tiger of Sweden Hires From Burberry

This week, Nora Baldenweg is confirmed to helm the bi-annual magazine Lula, while former Burberry design director Christoffer Lundman joins Tiger of Sweden.

LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Lula Appoints New Editor-in-Chief
Nora Baldenweg has been named editor-in-chief at Lula Magazine, BoF can exclusively reveal. She joins the publication from Paris-based Modzik, and has previously held editor positions at Russh, Indie and Material Girl. Baldenweg will work closely with Lula's co-founder and director Damon Heath to oversee all print and digital aspects. Her first issue, Autumn/Winter 2017, will hit newsstands later this year.

Tiger of Sweden Hires Head of Creative and Design
Former design director at Burberry, Christoffer Lundman, has been confirmed as the Scandinavian brand Tiger of Sweden's new head of creative and design. His appointment will commence June 1 2017, with his first collection debuting for the Autumn/Winter 2018 season.

W Magazine Names Executive Digital Director
Anne Sachs has been appointed executive digital director at W Magazine, effective immediately. She joins the publication from Condé Nast's Social News Desk, where she was executive director. In addition to her position at W, Sachs will work with Condé Nast's Digital Innovation Center in Austin as editorial director, product partnerships.

Ralph Lauren Appoints CEO
Patrice Louvet will succeed Stefan Larsson as president and chief executive at Ralph Lauren, effective July 17 2017. Previously the group president of global beauty at Procter & Gamble, he will report to executive chairman and chief creative officer, Ralph Lauren, and the rest of the board.

Yoox Net-a-Porter Names Global Buying Director
Elizabeth von der Goltz will head up the luxury e-tailer's buying department from mid-summer of this year. She joins the company from a 14-year tenure at Bergdorf Goodman, most recently as senior vice president and general merchandise manager. Von der Goltz will relocate from New York to the company headquarters in London.

Condé Nast Britain Confirms Commercial Appointments
The publishing house has confirmed Emma Redmayne and Kate Slesinger will take up newly-created publishing directorships, effective immediately. Redmayne will oversee The World of Interiors and House & Garden commercial team, while Slesinger will head up the Vanity Fair and Tatler commercial team.

Bergdorf Goodman Announces Changes
The Neiman Marcus group has confirmed changes within its Bergdorf Goodman organisation. Melissa Lowenkron will succeed Elizabeth von der Goltz as senior vice president and general merchandise manager. Kenneth Gaston has also been promoted to vice president, general merchandise manager.
