Condé Nast appoints Sarah Burke editor-in-chief of them. Burke joins the LGBTQ+ community-anchored publication from Vice, where she oversaw the production of Vice World News’ documentary series Transnational.
Boohoo appoints ESG banking executive to its board. Kirsty Britz, director of sustainable banking at NatWest Group, will join the fast-fashion retailer’s board as a non-executive director. Boohoo Group executive chairman Mahmud Kamani said in a statement he hopes her experience will “ensure the board remains focused on making balanced and sustainable decisions.” The announcement comes after Boohoo has been under fire for various ESG violations, including forced labour allegations.
Authentic Brands Group appoints new president for Latin America. From 2015 to 2017, Joseph N. Zarro worked for the licensing firm as vice president of business development and legal affairs. He has additional experience as the vice president of global licensing at LVMH, where he led Donna Karan and DKNY businesses in Japan. His joining AGB comes at a time when the company is plotting further expansion in Latin America.
