The 13th edition of the five-day program, A Shaded View on Fashion Film (ASVOFF), will run from Dec. 3 to 7 on FNL Network, a digital network with a focus on fashion, entertainment and lifestyle.
Along with film screenings, the festival will include a series of Zoom conversations where industry insiders will discuss everything from the state of art direction to cultural symbolism in fashion.
The 2021 jury will be led by film director and writer Bruce LaBruce, known for his provocative and campy aesthetic, and also include journalist Susie Lau, influencer Bryan Boy, designer Andre Walker and Sara Maino, deputy editor in chief of Vogue Italia. Awards will be presented in traditional categories such as style, beauty, sound editing and documentary, as well as new categories including diversity, art and design, sustainability and digital fashion.
