NEW YORK — To kick off New York Fashion Week, The Business of Fashion and Shop with Google welcomed designers, editors, creatives and entrepreneurs to an intimate and convivial dinner at the newly opened Wine Room at Hotel Chelsea in New York City.
The event was hosted by BoF’s founder and CEO, Imran Amed, and Google’s senior director of global commerce, Stephanie Horton.
Guests from BoF’s global community included designers Tory Burch, Jason Wu, Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Sergio Hudson, KidSuper’s Colm Dillane, Noah’s Brendon Babenzien and Estelle Bailey-Babenzien.
Executives including the CFDA’s CEO Steven Kolb, Head of Kering Americas Laurent Claquin, Thom Browne CEO Rodrigo Bazan, Saks CEO Marc Metrick, and Tory Burch CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel were also out in force, alongside models and content creators like Alek Wek, Veronica Webb, Derek Blasberg, Tina Leung and Up Next Designer’s Albert Ayal.
Fashion editors and writers including Vogue’s Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, The Washington Post’s Rachel Tashjian and Nicole Warne also attended.
