Fédération de la haute couture et de la Mode re-elects president
Ralph Toledano has been re-elected president of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. He has held the post since 2014.
Snap nominates director
Snap Inc has nominated Poppy Thorpe, head of brand marketing at Glossier, to be its new director. She will be replacing Mitch Lasky, a Benchmark Capital general partner who is leaving the board and the company. Before Glossier, Thorpe managed brands and formulated social-media strategies for a number of firms.
Tapestry adds to board of directors
Darrell Cavens has been appointed to Tapestry's board of directors, bringing its membership up to 11. Cavens is currently president, new ventures for the Qurate Retail Group. He was previously president and chief executive of Zulily, which he co-founded.
Bottega Veneta marketing director exits
Marketing director Lisa Pomerantz is departing the label on 13 July. Her duties will be taken over by chief executive Claus-Dietrich Lars. Pomerantz joined the company in 2017 after six years at Michael Kors, where she served as senior vice president, communications and marketing.
Anthropologie names managing director
Former Jigsaw chief executive Peter Ruis has been named managing director of Anthropologie International. Ruis will report to Andrew Carnie, president of Anthropologie Group. Before joining Jigsaw, he served as executive buying and brand director at John Lewis.
Puma names senior head of communications
Kerstin Neuber has been named head of communications at Puma, effective August 1. In the newly created role, Neuber will oversee corporate communications, brand and product public relations and employer branding. She will report to Adam Petrick, global director of brand marketing.
