Ganni names CFO
Scandinavian contemporary label Ganni has appointed Nicholas Yates chief financial officer, effective May 13. Yates joins the company from jewellery brand Pandora, where he served as vice president of finance for the EMEA region. He succeeds Rene Dyhring who left the company last year.
Bally appoints CEO
Bally has promoted Chief Operating Officer Nicolas Girotto to the role of chief executive, as of April. Girotto replaces Frédéric de Narp, who served as Bally's CEO since 2013 and now assumes the role of vice chairman of the company.
Canada Goose names chief commercial officer
Canada Goose has promoted Ana Mihaljevic from senior vice president, planning and sales operations to chief commercial officer. Mihaljevic replaces Rick Wood, who will assume an advisory role on key strategic projects at the company.
Barneys hires content SVP
Barneys New York has appointed Tony Wang to the newly created role of senior vice president, content and editorial, with immediate effect. Wang, who was previously director of content at Ssense, reports to Katherine Monasebian, executive vice president and chief digital and technology officer.
Alastair McKimm re-joins i-D as editor-in-chief
I-D magazine has appointed Alastair McKimm global editor-in-chief, in a move that marks his return to the title where he was fashion director from 2013 to 2018. He succeeds Holly Shackleton, who started as Vogue International's editor-in-chief last week. He will report to Lucy Delacherois-Day, who was recently promoted to global publisher of the magazine.
Dazed Media hires head of audience
Dazed Media has named Charlotte Cijffers head of audience, effective immediately. Cijffers joins the company from DJ Magazine, where she held the role of digital editor. She reports to Dazed Media Co-Founder and Chief Executive Jefferson Hack.
Le Bon Marché appoints communications director
Sami Ben Addi has been named communications director of Le Bon Marché, with immediate effect. Replacing Anne-Catherine Grimal, who is now director of external relations at LVMH's Moët Hennessy, he joins the company from a 15-year career at Sephora, where he started as a shop-floor employee and most recently served as head of PR, events and influence for France and EMEA. Addi reports to Le Bon Marché Chairman and Chief Executive Patrice Wagner.
L'Oréal China appoints CEO
Fabrice Megarbane, current general manager of L'Oréal Germany, has been named CEO of L'Oréal China, effective July 1. Megarbane replaces Stephane Rinderknech, whose new role within the cosmetics group will be be announced at a later date.
