LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.
Bruno Guillon Steps Down at Mulberry
Mulberry announced that Bruno Guillon will step down as chief executive officer after two years in the role, during which the British luxury handbag maker lost two-thirds of its market value. Guillon, who joined Mulberry from Hermès in March 2012, will leave the British brand immediately. Former chief executive Godfrey Davis, the company's non-executive chairman, will become executive chairman until a successor is found.
Bruno Sälzer to Exit Escada End of Year
Escada's chief executive has elected to not renew his contract with the German womenswear brand. "I have really enjoyed the last six years at Escada. Megha Mittal, chairman of the board, added: "I would like to express my sincere thanks to Bruno for his leadership over the past six years. He has steered Escada successfully during this period and I wish him continued success in the future." Canali Taps Andrea Pompilio
Menswear brand Canali has tapped Andrea Pompilio, 2011 winner of prestigious Italian design competition Who's On Next, as a creative consultant. Pompillio will design a capsule collection, which will debut during Milan's menswear week in June.
