Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom — Since its inception in 2013, the BoF500 has become the definitive professional index of the people shaping the global fashion industry. Today, we are proud to unveil the fourth annual BoF500, reflecting an industry that is more diverse, digital and disruptive than ever before.
This year's BoF500 includes members hailing from 57 different countries, with 113 new entrants including stylist Lotta Volkova, Chinese couture designer Guo Pei, Instagram's head of fashion partnerships Eva Chen, Everlane founder Michael Preysman and singer Zayn Malik. They join existing BoF500 members including Donatella Versace, Nadja Swarovski, Adrian Joffe and Carine Roitfeld. Twenty-eight BoF500 members have also been promoted to the Hall of Fame, earning a permanent place in the BoF500, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the industry.
Each year, the BoF500 — which spans designers, executives and retailers to media professionals, technology entrepreneurs, models and muses — is compiled based on hundreds of nominations from current and former BoF 500 members from around the world and BoF’s on-the-ground market intelligence.
To accompany this year's BoF500, we are pleased to launch our latest special print issue (available to buy here), featuring cover star Kate Moss, as well as in-depth interviews with Uniqlo founder Tadashi Yanai, designer Tory Burch, Buro 24/7 entrepreneur Miroslava Duma and Nike's sustainability leader Hannah Jones.
