Power Moves | Net-a-Porter Hires Dana Gers, Linda Wells Joins Revlon

This week, Net-a-Porter appointed Dana Gers as global marketing and communications director, and Frederic Cumenal is exiting his role as CEO at Tiffany & Co.

Dana Gers Joins Net-a-Porter
Yoox Net-a-Porter Group has appointed Dana Gers as global marketing and communications director for Net-a-Porter, a newly created position within the company. Gers, who is currently senior vice president of global brand marketing and communications at Jimmy Choo, will join Net-a-Porter in April.

CEO Exits Tiffany & Co.
Frederic Cumenal is exiting his role as chief executive officer at Tiffany & Co. He will be temporarily replaced by chairman Michael Kowalski, who will serve as interim chief executive officer. Cumenal, who was appointed chief executive in April 2015, first joined the company in March 2011 after 15 years at LVMH, where he held several roles in the company's wine and spirits group.

Revlon Hires Linda Wells
Linda Wells, the founding editor of Allure magazine, has joined beauty giant Revlon as chief creative officer. Wells, who served as editor-in-chief of Allure for nearly 25 years, left the Condé Nast publication in November 2015 and has held brief stints at New York Magazine and Hearst since leaving.

Walpole Names CEO
Walpole has appointed Helen Brocklebank as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Before joining Walpole, Brocklebank, who succeeds Michelle Emmerson, established a content consultancy for luxury brands working predominantly with retail and media clients, including Liberty and Boat International.

Lululemon Appoints General Manager EMEA
Gareth Pope has joined Lululemon as general manager for Europe, Middle-East and Africa. Most recently, he served as Converse's general manager of EMEA. Before that, Pope held a number of senior roles within Nike.

Kith Hires Emily Oberg
Streetwear retailer and brand Kith has named Emily Oberg as creative lead at Kith Women, effective immediately. Before joining Kith, Oberg was an on-camera anchor for Complex. Oberg will work alongside the women's design team, who will help realise and execute her direction.
