Nordstrom makes merchandising leadership changes. Debbi Hartley-Triesch, former Northwest regional manager and 30-year Nordstrom team member, will assume the role of general merchandising manager of beauty and accessories. She succeeds Gemma Lionello, who will transition to Northeast regional manager for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores. Pari Sanayei will transition from Northeast regional manager to Northwest regional manager.
Hunter hires new executives. The British company known for its rain boots has made Paolo Porta its permanent chief executive. Before joining the brand in 2020 as interim CEO, he worked at Jimmy Choo, Dior and Stella McCartney. Hunter also hired Sandra Romboli, who previously worked at Decathlon, Reebok and Adidas as global design director and Claudia Plant, who came from Burberry and Net-a-Porter as chief marketing officer.
