Like other Kering-owned brands Gucci and Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta has abandoned the traditional Fashion Week calendar to instead stage experiential, off-piste events showcasing new designs. Last autumn, creative director Daniel Lee presented his Spring/Summer 2021 collection — dubbed “Salon 01″ — at a top-secret showing in London. On Friday, a cast of fashion characters — including singer Burna Boy, Virgil Abloh, Honey Dijon and Stefano Pilati — ventured to the Berghain nightclub in Berlin to view “Salon 02.” No images of the collection were released.

Under Lee’s watch, Bottega Veneta has taken an exclusive, high-touch approach to marketing its collections, moving off social media and instead publishing a quarterly online magazine.
