The prestige beauty company announced on Thursday that Michelle Freyre has been promoted to global brand president of Clinique and Glenn Evans to the position global brand president of Smashbox and Glamglow, effective July 1. Both will continue to report to John Demsey, executive group president at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC).
Freyre previously held the role of SVP, global general manager at Clinique since June 2020, where she drove brand positioning and doubled digital growth for Clinique’s hero products. She previously held various leadership roles over 20 years within Johnson & Johnson’s consumer health products division, where she served as president, US beauty in 2020.
Evans most recently served as SVP, global general manager at Smashbox and Glamglow. Prior to his role at Smashbox, Evans served as SVP, Leading Beauty Forward within ELC which launched in May 2016, designed to enhance go-to-market capacities and reinforce the company’s leadership as a global prestige beauty provider and SVP, global supply chain where he established and run the global supply chain centre of excellence.
