Highsnobiety appoints new editor-in-chief
Thom Bettridge has been appointed editor-in-chief of Highsnobiety, effective immediately. In taking the helm of editorial coverage, Bettridge succeeds David Fischer, who will continue as the company's founder and chief executive. Bettridge joins from Interview magazine, where he served as executive editor.
Bertrand Guyon joins Maria Grazia Chiuri’s studio at Dior
Dior has confirmed with BoF that Bertrand Guyon has joined the studio of Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, with immediate effect. Guyon, who worked with Chiuri during a seven-year stint at Valentino, was previously design director of Schiaparelli.
Sergio Tacchini appoints Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow amid ownership changes
Italian tennis brand Sergio Tacchini has appointed Public School Co-Founder Dao-Yi Chow to the role of global creative director. The appointment of Chow, who will continue to work at Public School, comes at a time of several company changes. The brand is now owned by Stefano Maroni, founder and former chief executive of licensing company GMI USA Corp., Twin Lakes Capital LLC and B. Riley Principal Investments LLC, with Twin Lakes Capital's Lee Feldman serving as chairman and Maroni as chief executive.
Jing Daily hires Hypebeast features editor for editor-in-chief
Enrique Menendez has been named editor-in-chief of Jing Daily, a newly created role, with immediate effect. Menendez, who has previously written for BoF and Chinese publication Elsewhere, joins the company from Hypebeast, where he was features editor. He reports to publisher Larry Warsh.
i-D promotes Ibrahim Kamara to senior fashion editor-at-large
Ibrahim Kamara has been promoted from i-D's fashion editor-at-large to senior fashion editor-at-large of the publication, which he joined last year.
VF Corp. names Dickies global brand president
Dickies owner VF Corp. has named Denny Bruce global brand president of the workwear label, effective July 1. Bruce, who was previously executive vice president of sales at barbecue company Traeger Pellet Grills, reports to VF Executive Vice President and Group President for Workwear Curt Holtz.
